DESCRIPTION:Teacher\nDates\nCourse Details\nAccommodation\nRegistration\nCosts\nImpressions\n\n\nAfter studying at the State University of the Arts in Tokyo where she was born\, the pianist Tomoko Ogasawara continued her studies in Germany at the University of the Arts in Berlin and the University of Music in Freiburg im Breisgau\, where she received the solo diploma with honors and went on to win 1st Prize in the German Hochschulwettbewerb. \nAmong her teachers were Georg Sava\, Tibor Hazay and Georgy Sebok who influenced her artistic development and led her to early success\, for example as finalist in the international competitions “Maria Canals” / Barcelona and “ Clara Haskil” / Montreux. \nSince then concert engagements have taken Tomoko Ogasawara to the concert halls of the international music world (such as Berlin\, Montreux\, London\, Paris\, Tokyo\, Jerusalem\, Bangkok\, Shanghai). She has played concerts together with Albrecht Mayer\, Jörg Widmann and Tabea Zimmermann and regularly plays with the principals and leading musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra\, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra\, the Bavarian Symphony Orchestra and the SWR Orchestra also in the context of chamber music formations\, such as the piano trio “Franconia”\, the ensemble “Abraxas” and at international festivals such as “Affinis” in Japan. \nAs soloist Tomoko Ogasawara has played\, among others\, with the Symphony Orchestra Berlin\, Lausanne Chamber Orchestra\, Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Bamberg. She is featured in numerous radio broadcasts as well as CD recordings. In the season 2006/2007 Ogasawara performed the complete cycle of piano sonatas by W. A. Mozart. \nCurrently Tomoko Ogasawara passes on her musical experience through the teaching position she holds at the University of Music in Freiburg im Breisgau as well as regular master classes in Tokyo and Yokohama. DESCRIPTION:Teacher\nDates\nCourse Details\nAccommodation\nRegistration\nCosts\nImpressions\n\n\n© Uwe Nölke\nBorn in Vienna\, Gottlieb Wallisch first appeared on the concert platform when he was seven years old\, and at the age of twelve made his debut in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein. A concert directed by Yehudi Menuhin in 1996 launched Wallisch’s international career: accompanied by the Sinfonia Varsovia\, the seventeen-year-old pianist performed Beethoven’s ‘Emperor’ Concerto. \nSince then Wallisch has received invitations to the world’s most prestigious concert halls and festivals: Carnegie Hall New York\, Wigmore Hall in London\, the Cologne Philharmonie\, the Tonhalle Zurich\, and the NCPA in Beijing\, also the Ruhr Piano Festival\, the Beethovenfest in Bonn\, the Festivals of Lucerne and Salzburg\, the December Nights in Moscow\, and the Singapore Arts Festival. Conductors with whom he has performed as a soloist include Giuseppe Sinopoli\, Sir Neville Marriner\, Dennis Russell Davies\, Kirill Petrenko\, Louis Langrée\, Lawrence Foster\, Christopher Hogwood\, and Bruno Weil.\nOrchestras he has performed with include the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra\, Vienna Symphony Orchestra\, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic\, Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra\, Frankfurt Radio Symphony\, Festival Strings Lucerne\, Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra Budapest\, Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra Los Angeles\, and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra. \nIn 2020 his recording of the Complete Beethoven-Piano Concertos on period instruments\, with Orchester Wiener Akademie under Martin Haselboeck was released to great critical acclaim and received an „Opus Klassik“-nomination. \nAfter teaching positions at the Geneva University for Music and the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest\, Gottlieb Wallisch currently serves as professor for piano at the Berlin University of Arts (UdK Berlin).
