After completing his modern piano degree at the Royal Conservatory at The Hague in 1983, Bart van Oort studied fortepiano with Stanley Hoogland, also at the Royal Conservatory. Flutist-conductor Eyal Ein-Habar, former first chair player of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (1997-2014), was born in Israel.
