High above the Rhine, the Marksburg crowns the landscape, inviting guests to a short but fine concert series of four painstakingly chosen and varied concerts in the first dark Winter days of the year.
The concerts take place at the ballroom of the Marksburg-Schänke, and catering for the members of the audience is available.
Through this series, the Academy accomplishes its educational mission, as well as its goal of bringing top level classical music to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley to audiences. All audiences, regardless of their financial situation, can enjoy these concerts since they are presented on a free admission basis, although voluntary donations are encouraged in order to guarantee the survival of the series as well as the remuneration of the artists featured in the series.
